Just piddling here and there with this 372 project.

Like new piston and cylinder with crosshatch and witness lines still. Like new crankshaft etc. I just hope it runs as good as the last 372 50mm I did.

Need a bunch of little stuff if any has any to get rid of or trade. Just let me know. I'll post in wanted a list later.

LMK when you want me to bring my 365 Special over and we will look at how the tank vent is done with the loop up through the air box floor and pull the clutch bell and look at the worm arm. We will try to determine the other late model differences too.

Well I just couldnt wait any longer for the 2 parts I have ordered on such a nice day and a little free time. I stole the intake flange and intake sleeve from the 362xp and put on this latest 372xp project.

660mag had just stopped by when I was buttoning  it up and fired it  to tune and stick in a test piece of black walnut. Feels like another good runner.  8) ;D

It ran pretty good when I was there.

Finally found a large mount husky 20" Germany made Carlton bar for my last 372,  like the small mount one for my 362.

Left small mount 362. Right large mount 372.

I got a couple of those bars too Kevin, got them from Baileys real cheap. But look close at the bar nose joint and you will probably see where the bar was ground down to match the tip, probably why they blew them out cheap.

You must have got some seconds or something that was being clearanced out IMO. All of my 050 bars have been perfect, no grinding to fit anywhere.  Very Nice fit and finish.  8)

I have looked for what you said on all my Carlton bars German made, Japan made. GB made and I cant find any grinding  ???

I wish I could have found the husky mounts cheap I would have bought all the lg and sm I could afford.

Is that one of the earlier open port saws?  Looks like a bolt on intake.
