Isnt that a 395 big bore kit and not a 394 big bore.  If so you should be able to change the title.

Looks like a BB395 compared to a stock 394 to me.

If the one at hls is a hyway I'll go that route, I have a hyway bb kit on a 365, runs great.

Found this video of a nwp bb, I think my old 394 runs better, lol

That video says it has.  Phase 1 modifications are a Bailey's Tree Supply (NWP) 58 mm Big Bore kit, SwainTech ceramic coatings applied to cylinder chamber and piston domed & skirt, some woods porting, port matching. The rest of the saw is still using a stock ignition, crank, clutch, flywheel, and Tillotson carb.

Who knows what they done really.

Title is correct, 394 bb kit, which hyway  makes for the 395 and 394 with a carb conversion kit.

Next this is not a NWP kit, that did seem to run like poop in the video, its the hyway bb kit.  Now I have a BB kit from hyway on my 365, problem is, hyway kept the ports the same size on the 395 bb kit as the 372 bb kit.

Next question, as I don't have a 395 jug, and never ran one, how does the 395 and 394 compare stock to stock?

Hard to see clearly but it looks like the OEM 394 jug has a main port and a single boost port on each side, where the 395 jug has a main port and two boost ports on each side. Sort of like looking and comparing a 272 jug with a 372 jug. Perhaps you should mic the original 394 port sizes and do the same for the 395, then compare your totals. If what I think I'm seeing is correct, then my bet is that the 395 has a larger total port area than the 394!

And NO Hyway does not make a 394 BB kit. They only make a 395 BB kit that can be adapted to a 394 with the addition of a kit so that you can use the 395 intake tract in place of the 394 intake tract.

Don't need to mic it, the hyway 395 bb kit has a lot less port area then the stock 394.  Its just all wrong as far as flow.  I can see the 395 bb hyway having better throttle response, it will have high velocity of flow, but i can't see it making Hp and torque

Well make sure you are comparing apples to apples. I'm sure that you can always return it for a refund.
Advertised HP on the 394 is 7.1hp@8,800, on the 395 it is 7.1 hp@8700

Yup, but those are stock numbers, just not seeing this in the bb kit.

It is a change in the porting design. The 272s used the dual port design same as the 394 but the quad ported 372s were known to make more torque perhaps the same sort of thing is gong on with the 394/395. The only thing the BB kits do is increase the bore, the manufacturers (no matter the manufacturer) never state that they re-ported the jug to take advantage of the increase in bore. It is sort of the American way, 'if 1 is good the 5 is 5 times as good'.
