Seems to have plenty of timing. Pretty noisy.

Looked at the 543xp at the dealers today $509. Just not a husky xp and I cant get over it sorry.  Nice looking saw but should have had Redmax name on it like we were use to here.

I've also several times looked at the 543XPG (heated handles option) at the shop, but yet never run one. I fear the risk of buying one, if I tried this saw. But already having a 50cc saw, it would only make an unnecessary and expensive redundancy.

M&R Tree owns a 543xp on his tree crew. = It's OK. Still running on a tree crew. Just hard to look past the $425.00 dollars. Takes about 10-15 tanks to really wake up. Wouldn't consider it a screamer though. Does fine in under 12" wood though.
