Kevin, whats the price of a 545 down your way? How much less than the 550?

Retail for retail about a $100 difference unless onsale. 

Better prices then these can be had though.

545 18" $470 shipped

550 18" $560  have seen with 16" $520 shipped

Best I was quoted here was $725 for a 550. No 545 at dealer yet. I can get Stihls for cost (a new 440 for $60 less than a 550) but the new Huskies are interesting.

Stihl pro saws are relatively cheap here, but it doesn't really help with the current selection of models.  ;)

Pulled the 18" 325 set up off 545 today and put on the poulan 5020.

 I then put a 16" 3/8 husqvarna bar and stihl rsc chain on the 545. The 545 likes the 3/8 just like the 550.

Dont forget to get a 16mm scrench for the new little plugs on these new saws. I did.

Just picked 2 up for me and 660mag.

The screnches come with the saw.  If you didn't get one, they are still at the dealer with the service pack (allen wrench, bar tip greaser and something else?)
