I just ordered a 13" narrow kerf .325 Husqvarna bars for my 338XPT. They 're laminated but my top handle with the limited cutting it gets will last just fine. My 346,372 and 395 are the wood pounders with their solid body bars. But will try the 13" nar kerf on the 346 for the heck of it seeing the 338 and 346 take the same rim and bar.

I have my 338 converted to .325 rim sprocket, now with this light .325 -13" and 20LPX chain the 338 will be an excellent aerial saw with a heavy duty fast cutting chisel chain. I muffler modded the 338 with a extra 9/16" exhaust outlet pipe and she really woke up. Will have to see if the WoodLandPro [Carlton] 20RC is lighter then the 20LPX seeing it doesn't have the safety ramp drive links that the Oregon has.

Part # for the 13" bar is 508 92 61-56. Will post some pics when it comes in.

My husky 55 air injection came from factory with a 16" .325-.058 husky bar. closed  port with a decomp. I have heard all 55 ranchers came with 3/8's chains only. I think they were all open port saws.

That was the "Rancher" version, and it basically is a bad choise on that saw, if you want decent cutting speed........ ;D
