Thanks Jim. Adam the part# you gave earlier is a good number but does not match the 555 or 562 part which is 510 00 14-02. ??? Trying to do as EHP suggested to keep the heat down.

I cut the baffle out from the inlet port & cut all the metal out from under the deflector. Opened it up good, but wanted to try a milder approach so got another muff. Second one, I drilled extra holes in the baffle and a big hole next to the existing hole under the deflector. Haven't tried the milder one yet, but the gutted muff ran real good!

There's 2 different parts because there's 2 different mufflers. They updated the muffler and made it a little stronger. They also ditched the spacers for the top bolts and naturally changed the bolts. The spacer washer that was under the front bolts is now welded onto the muffler.

The new muffler comes as a kit and includes the top bolts, deflector and gasket. Kit part number is 581914801 as aclarke posted above.

Thanks for clarifying that... pricing seems good on the new muffler.

Bob, I noticed the difference with the new one I got from you. Figured there was a reason they change it, but the old one worked fine.

Oh and the 346 P&C I got from ya has been cut on and runs like a bat outta hell!  ;D
