Cheers mate was really helpfull. Managed to get it back in with some pretty serious pressure. I also spat 3 little pieces out of the mechanism and without your help i would have had no idea where they went back in

Why wouldnt you buy one ? Ive had one for a couple years now and its a great saw only problems ive had are through opperator error.

Can be a interesting puzzle for sure. 
Only way I knew of on others was a screwdriver and alot of pressure back into place once collapsed.
