You could borrow my 350 hard case if you need to?

Thanks for the offer.

But I have had hard cases before and dont care for them.  For trying to pack for a trip they take up alot of space and they still smell still inside cargo area

I have one husqvarna labeled bag and one jonsered labeled bag that I use when I carry saws in my trailblazer. I have the bags zipped up when I put them in and I do not notice any odor from them. I have carried my 346, my 670, my 2165 in them with up to a 20" bar on them with a plastic bar guard on them. I have found that I can carry my gas can in a sterilite container with a snap lid on it and I don't notice any gas smell in the truck.

I just bought the bag for my 550XP. For $16.00 I think it is a good deal. As far as odor goes, you might try Motomix/Tru-fuel as the Motomix produces very little in the way of vapor that you can smell.

An update. I brought my 550XP on vacation with me, packed in the Husqvarna bag. It has been in our travel trailer since Monday and I have not detected the odor of fuel one time. The tank is filled with Motomix and I think that has a lot to do with it.

The only time I take my saws on vacation is to take in a few timbersport competitons along the way. PNW shows are the best.

Sometimes us guys who make a living with a saw need to have a little fun too ;) :)
