This is one of the smaller issues I heard of so far. Not that it is trivia, but thgere are bigger problems I think that need lifting.

Not many do notes or report to HVA unless it is warranty claim.
Few hook them up and update before it is sold, even fewer I think run them before customer get them.

This is a super fine thing to use a direct link between shop and HVA so they get to know what is Actually happening instead of believing all is fine as they hear nothing until sales drop and customers run other brands.
This IMO is most important. To let HVA know every little thing that happens so they get a chance to evaluate and correct.

I talked to some designers and engineers and we have completely different opinions on how much saws are repaired.
They said they then needed to go thru part sales lists to see, but with this system they get info first hand, strait from service bench.
It can't be better...

It is a different thinking. The ones that never report what they find in the saws don't help preventing it to happen again.
