If the saw appears to be running correctly even if it is not but appears to be, consumers won't bring the saw in. Free or not, what most will run it till it quits, then bring it in. I repair lots of saws that a trip to a dealer for a free check could have prevented an expensive fix.

What we are or should be interested in should be getting data back to HVA and making sure that controller software on the saw is current.
