Well, I have been in Sweden several times.....beautiful place any time of year.  With the internet it should not be difficult for a consumer version of the software to connect to HVA and upload data. If fact, HVA must already have the infrastructure in place to receive data from dealers. So, extending it to consumers should only be a small task.

The software that wold be provided to consumers would be 'scripted' in such a way that the whole process would be automatic. Tasks would be:

Put CD in computer
CD would automatically start
Program would instruct user to connect saw
Program would send current status information to HVA
Program would offer to print status for user
Program would check for new software
If new software is available new software would be put on saw
Program would send new status of software install to HVA
Program would print new software install for user
Program would disconnect from HVA
Program would tell user it is OK to disconnect saw
Program would end when user disconnects saw
