I'm sure you will enjoy the 562XP as your 60cc chainsaw. I have a 545 and a 550XP and never any problem.

Being in the repair/restoration business, I have accumulated quite a few saws in that class. I really purchased it to learn the software and other features of the AT saws. Before someone brings one in for repair and I am befuddled.

However as usual you are probably right on liking the saw!

Well it is different to get one of those AT's out and not have to fiddle with the needles before you start cutting.

+1 on that, I am so used to fiddling with the jets, that I could very probably get used to it very quickly. However that would mess up my whole routine! Guess that I would have time for one more cup of coffee and a whiz!

More good info coming in.  This guy had a 540 with the above issue of not running right.

Quote from: squisher
Got mine back today. I'm surprised none of the gurus know about my problem. Apparently there's a bulletin out. The story I got is three weeks worth of production have intake issues with the 'impulse?' Line not being mounted properly on the throat/plate of the intake. Thus fuel supply lacks and it doesn't really run. Anyhow it's back and on the truck for tomorrow. Full warranty repair.

The guy at my shop said it's quite a problem for Husky and that usually they're pretty sticky on the warranty and require pics and whatnot but that when they called this in husky said its a known problem and the warranty was no questions asked.

No one here has heard of this?  Again they said there was a bulletin on it. Mostly saws in Europe though?

Kevin do you have a shot of a 338XPT and/or 335XPT powerhead on a scale?

I put a new dry 2139T with bar and chain on the scale it was 9 pounds 10 ounces
an the MS192 rear handle was 9 pounds 7 ounces. Just for sheets and giggles.
