Look at the husqvarna 353 piston in its closed port cylinder.   Look at the poulan 445 415 425 pistons used in their quad port closed cylinders.

I have one on my p5000 ,  lots of torque. 

Thats what I noticed in the difference of 44mm partner 5000 and the poulan 325 aka partner 5500 46mm saws. The torque difference was very noticeable. 46mm 5500 was like a 44mm 5000 on steroids IMO.

Good combo for wood cutting.  Been playing with a 20" bar on mine.  Pulls pretty good...
