That'll work, had one given to me yesterday that was set up and cylinder is not salvageable.
These are the only aftermarket cylinders I've had any luck with holding up to my customers
level of abuse and neglect.

The transfers looks a bit odd - looks like sort of "halv way" quads, With beefy and short "deviders"? ???

The meteor link doesn't look at all like a closed port cylinder to me, and shouldn't the closed port kit have a windowed piston? The OEM reference number they show is not even in the Husky system.

And for another $35 I sell the OEM kit, so I don't see a great deal there. (the open port kit, which is the only OEM kit available)

Those pictures are actual meteor kit pics taken by @Duke Thieroff   he has in hand.  Dont know what his piston looked like.    http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/used-chainsaw-parts-online/sawsalvage-com-used-and-nos-parts-meteor-piston-and-cylinder-dealer/

HL link was just added to post and maybe generic pic as far as I know in their link.   UPDATE  nope found Dukes piston in pic below.

Found piston. Not windowed piston but IMO cylinder is still a closed port and Randy's Masterminds opinion too.

Duke  Is this considered a closed port Husky 55?

Randy Damn right.......and it appears to be quad ported?

It's the general consensus that it is considered a CP.  I have some very interesting tests coming up shortly involving this specific kit.  Will indeed keep you guys in the loop over here.
