Thank you aclarke. From what I have found you may be correct. I thoroughly cleaned the old cylinder and found some additional ID information. BTW, the cylinder has V MAHLE embossed on one side of the cylinder, and this on the other 50ZN13W8. The piston has MAHLE embossed on the inside along with the following: 60L49. Is Mahle the mfg. or something to do with the design?
