Yeah that kit would be the way to go. Thanks for the info wild262. I'd love to do that BB kit, but my funds are exceptionally limited right now.
I went with the highest quality stock parts I could afford. I have it back together and bucked a 16" dia oak log no problem.
I'd still like to do that 45mm kit. If it's still there when I come up with the cash....

I thank you for all the help. I've learned a bunch about saws these last few weeks.
