My new to me Husqvarna
« on: December 24, 2011, 07:19:32 pm »
here's my newest saw i traded for. it's a husqvarna but i don't know what size i know it's not too big of a saw. but at least it runs with a little clean up and it runs pretty darn good too for what i traded for it.If anyine has any ideals what it please tell me. i think it is a 44 husqvarna but not really sure yet.i still have to get a top cover and bar and chain and it should be ready to cut wood again.and after i get more money i'll get a other clutch cover for it because the one that is on it now is cranked.

oh ok thats what everyone else on a other fourm has told me it was. but i'll have to go back and find the top up there at his house. and then go on e-bay and buy a bar and chain for it so i could cut some wood and see how it does.

Top and clutch covers are most likely both NLA from Husky.

Even if you find them used, you'd have to get them for free if selling the saw for $75. That's the problem with any saw like this where you have to "fill in the blanks" to make it complete, and the selling price is $100 or less. Bar and chain is the most common thing a saw needs. If you've got a usable combo laying around, great. But if you need to buy something, the math usually doesn't work.

I have learned this the hard way.  I am the 44 guy!!  My Dad's 44 (and my addiction)got me into them.  Got 8 or so and a 444.  I can help on the parts needed.  From your SN it is a white top.  Send me a PM.
