I live up in Cheyenne Wyoming and cut wood up in the mountains at around 7000 ft or higher.
You should adjust the mixture screws a little.   One thing I did find was I had to raise the idle on all my saws to keep them from stopping.
I also found that compression dropped by quite a bit taking a way a small amount of power.

I just adjust the carb by ear just like I would at any altitude.
I moved from Calif. to Cheyenne which is 30 ft above sea level to 6000 ft above sea level.   All my saws had to be tuned for the altitude change.
Even when I go to the mountains which is another 1000 ft or more I have to adjust the carb.
Sometimes the weather changes here also affects the tuning on the saw and I adjust for it.

The best thing I can say is take your saw and try it.   If you need to tweak it a little just have your adjusting tool and be prepared.   Make small adjustments and then check how it runs.

One more thing the idle adjustment is always a small slotted screw where the mixture screws can be splined so make sure you have both with you.

I just thought of one more thing.
A lot of the time these saws come from the factory tuned already a little on the lean side so it may run ok at a higher altitude so that is why I say just take it and try it and be prepared if you need to adjust it.

Ok, sounds good - I ordered the tool and will keep a small flathead on hand for the idle speed adjustment, at least I think that is what I am hearing.  Hope to try her out this weekend in NE WA, Selkirk country.

Hi all - just wanted to check back in and say thanks.  My saw ran great out of the box with no adjustments, we were probably camped about 2000 feet lower than I originally intended so that may be why.  I have to say, I had never used anything other than a cheap Craftsman chainsaw and I cannot get over how sweet this thing is.  What a nice piece!

Sounds good and glad to hear it worked out for ya.  The Huskys are nice saws.
