Check to make sure the worm (plastic sleeve with the metal coil) is actually being turned by the clutch? Study what drives it (The clutch) and how? Is it friction pressure? Is it cogs that engage teeth on each piece? Is it a wing arm engaging the clutch bell?

It looks to me that there are teeth on the clutch bell hub that that engage a socket in the worm to drive it? Is the recess in the worm gear intact and not stripped out?
We should share what we know... someone may learn...
