KilliansredLeo  ;D glad to see you, been missing your posts over there.   I think there is a spot for this venture.  Sound good to me.  I would be very interested in test kit.

HEY Bill how you doing? Been sooooop busy with this you can't believe it. To answer budgets comment, we are doing a beginning to end video. This is a teaching/learning site and thought that if the kit idea was going to attract first-timers then we should do the complete thing.

That way we cold get people off on the right foot. This is just the first kit, we have several others on the drawing board that will be coming along over time depending on how well this goes.

We picked the 365/37X saws because they are so popular and plentiful and have such a wide following. Lots of people would like to be able to do what you and a lot of others do but don't because they believe that so much experience and knowledge is necessary to achieve a good result, so we wanted to make an effort to correct that.

Will be in touch, cheers... RedBeerKitty

are you going to go through pressure testing the saw and other diagnostics to make sure the bottom end is ok?

YES! From soup to nuts. We are trying to devise a way to get an indication of good sealing without asking the end user to buy a bunch of expensive additional tools.

Also these things (kits) will have a cost, may not be monetary but there will be a cost. That being said, I should explain. The offering of the test kits is to test out our instructions. We already know they work and deliver increased performance as we have had our customers running them for over three months. Are they masterminded or snellerized or simonianized saws, no!  But they do deliver significant performance increases over stock saws or those needing a rebuild. So, the prime candidates for test kits will be those that are able to divorce themselves from acquired knowledge and follow the instructions, but using their experience and knowledge to aid us in providing a clear concise path to success. We have also designed in a fail-safe path for the user and an additional benefit to the end user. The kits are based on a BB kit with a modified piston however the modified piston is NOT the piston supplied with the BB kit it is an additional piston supplied with the our kit. So end user gets the modified piston as well as the piston that comes with the BB set. Giving the end user a way to get the saw running again with the video and the parts we supply.

Not an easy thing for an experienced saw person to do!

i understand now what you mean with following directions. I misinterpreted what you needed at first. I would still love the opportunity for a test kit and would follow directions as given.

I can test a kit with different carb and intake options and I can flip out some coin to do so. I'm on a hazard tree job right falling stuff from 16" up to 70". I have a newly rebuilt 372 and a variety of carbs along with stock and modified mufflers to plug into.
