k760 concrete cut off saw metal arm blade snapped

wondering if anyone else has had this problem, in the middle of a cut the metal arm holding the blades to the engine just snapped in half, no warning or anything, the belt even snapped with it

I have never seen that before and I used to work on a lot of different concrete saws in a shop here.   I have one myself that I rebuilt.
