My experience with Husqvarna is you have 7 days to return it for refund. That's what they advertise anyways.
I bought two 550XP's, the one built in Aug. 2016 was a lemon.  The last one built in May 2016 was a good one.
Just make sure to check the serial# and make sure it's not built in the July,Aug. Swede's summer holiday production run.😁

The results are in: The chainsaw oil pump was the culprit - it was indeed broken. The dealer finally acknowledged that. A shame it took so much convincing for them to see that. I have received my money back and will buy the chainsaw at another dealer (hopefully they will take me more seriously should any issue arise in the future).
