Stihl and Husqvarna saws handle almost all the racing.

044,046, 066, 084 (most popular) 088, 090 for Stihl
just a few 090's today, they do come out for odd 090 class visually standard runs in QLD.

272,575,576,394,395 3120 (dominant in NSW, no quite so in QLD) for husky.
an odd other saw like the 2100 etc. but mainly the above saws compete the regular calendar events.

a couple of kart saws have been doing the rounds in Open Speed.

I was just thinking off the top of my head, 77cc under.  74.66cc 51.4mm 372 or BB372 52mm ,  046 460 76.5cc , jonsered 2077 or 2083II 76.5cc or poulan 475 or partner 7700.

You ever see Jerry's stock appearing poulan 475 77cc run in the 5ci 81cc races here.

Thanks for adding your saws list.   I forgot about the 272, that would be a nice one too.

No I have not seen Jerry's poulan, can you show it.
Stihl and Husky brands are the popular choice in our arenas, for some reason other brands have not been perused at our level.
Many years ago I raced against a 166 Dolly, it went ok but cannot remember what happened to it.
I also ran a 125 mac for maybe 1/2 a season some years back, that one had parts from Mcbob (he installed the bits for me).
I blew it up after changing a crank, my fault and it only ran for a few seconds, nothing left salvageable.

why would you say its a waste of time , not much else is going to get you over 50% more power at that easy of mod , if you push the limit on NOS you can get close to 100% more power just by pushing a button

Both the guys I have mentioned have been burned setting up nos, I guess that's why I don't like it, the thought of something bad happening and getting hurt.
Credit to those 2 men but, they stuck with it and they could both win if all went their way.

@ neil

About a 1:05 in video you will see Jerry running the yellow Poulan at Webster. I ran about the 2:09 mark somewhere bogged in 2cuts on saw I never ran before (back to camera) ended up 13th out of 40or so. Out of the top 12 money though.

Webster 2010 5cu class 12" round yellow poplar
