I don't know who he is but that 254 would give my 357 a run. Check out his Echo 8000 pipe.

its the same guy running the 3120 , that run right there in their wood with that 254 would not win you the 0-54cc muffler class , normal winning time in 0-54cc pipe is 2.5 sec. for 3 cuts over the block

My best run with my 357 was a 3.4. With a better chain and better technique I could probably drop a second. What is a good 4 cube time in Quebec.

they got by 0-54cc pipe in most places and a good time over the block is 2.5 seconds , next at most shows is 0-74cc pipe and 2.25 second is a good time for that  then its 0-106cc pipe but in most cases its bigger wood for this class , they run muffler at some of the shows but not alot of them,

I ran the 357 against a 272 run by Simon Bertrand a few years back. I will see if I have the time somewhere. Ran the 166 against one of his 3120s also. Guess who lost?

Whats a good 272 or 281 pipesaw go for? I'm not talking a record setter, just something good for the racing down here.

I got a 281 pipe saw that is not the fastest but runs pretty good , it is Stumpy's old saw and wants $600 for it , a good running pipe saw will go for $2500 in a 272 , Marcel charged that much 20 years ago , I paid $2600 for my first 272 pipe saw from him in 1996
