Pro and con

I only own 3 saws, a 40cc a 50cc and a 65cc. If I were thinking about a mid range saw, say the 445 and the 450, what are the pros and cons of the two? What do 5cc and maybe a little weight difference make? Plus I think , $50.

Maybe I'm not understanding correctly, but if you already have a 40, 50 and 65cc saws, why would you want to spend money on another 45 or 50cc saw? It would seem to me that you already have the midrange pretty well covered. Since you do not state make/model of the saws you have; my only advice would be perhaps you should consider a 'professional' saw like a 543 or 550.

What 65 cc saw do you have?  I find the 450, rather lame.

You have 40cc 50cc 65cc and you want a 45cc 50cc?  What are your other 3?

If I was going to spend my $$$ on a 450, I would spend a little more and get the 545. 545  is a detuned 550, but not by much.

Hard to give any advice without that info...

I have a 365 special, a husky 50 and yes, a wild thing. The 50 is getting a little old , the 365 is a little bigger than what I need most of the time and the wild thing is a wild thing. Don't really need another saw, I do mostly trail work . Might be a branch or a fallen tree. I guess I was most curious about how much performance gain there was with 5cc .I guess the weight would not be much less between 45&50cc, but is there enough performance gain to notice?

Look at a 545 IMO, I'd take a 545 over a 346xp.  ;)
