Sounds to me like you have some bar issues. Maybe all it needs are the bar rails squared up. If you are using the whole bar and a new chain and it hangs it the cut you may have some burrs on the edge of your rails or the top of the rails are uneven. Just something simple to check that can make a world of difference to any saw.
