HLS is good to deal with. Last couple orders I had a shipping confirmation in about an hour. As for tools, long metric allen head socket drives are a must. Harbor Freight had them cheap as was mentioned to me by someone here, but don't get the ball head ones. No need to buy a clutch tool, a knotted piece of starter rope will stop the piston through the spark plug hole. Just be sure it doesn't get into the ports, I rotate to almost TDC and then push it in to stop the piston.

So have you started the rebuild yet? Don't forget to post some pictures if you are able.

Well, none of the 3 dealers recommended on this thread seem to want my money.  I dunno why.  I guess business is really good for them.   ???

Anyway, can anyone recommend another source for parts?  I've been busy with car troubles, but I need to get this done!

Did you call any of them? I know Spike isn't online that much.

I'm not really interested in having to chase somebody down to make a purchase.   It doesn't bode well for the relationship down the road.  If a man puts up a website, he needs to attend to it or take it down.

HLS you go to website, buy, get 10% off, pay, they ship  ???.  How hard could that be?   ???  I even gave you a link earlier in thread.

Yes, that's easy, but I had a few questions for them, so I filled out the form that's for, you know, questions.

Nothing.

Filled out a question form with who? Were you trying to buy a saw or parts when you sent it?
