I have six of the newish saws and have never had a oil pump problem.

My brother on the other hand has one of the most popular saws on the planet and he has had constant oiling problems with it. He now runs a 351 & 359 that I fixed up for him. :D

I have a Husqvarna 545 and a 550XP and have not had any oiler trouble or even given it any thought..
We should share what we know... someone may learn...
