I did have all the parts, just not what you would want to use in a saw. Once I do all the measuring and math to prove that mathematically it will work. I then order/assemble all the new parts and go through the measure/math process again to make sure.

OBTW, Adam32's franken saw looks like it will work 2100/394 share the same bore 56mm, 181/394 same 38mm stroke, as well as what looks to be the same cylinder bolt pattern, 2100 had a 40mm stroke, so perhaps some metal would have to be removed from the skirt to clear the crank throws. Have not checked out the 084 carb yet. But you can bet your jazz I am going to try it the next time I get a 281/288/394 in as scrap!

It also appears that the Stihl 056/084 share the same Tilly carburetor but can't be directly used without changing it to take an internal rather than an external pulse.
