This thread reminds me of the other place. Posts seem to get deleted.

Yes Dan that would be me.   When a person is called things that are inflammatory that have no basis I see no benefit to the thread at hand.

It was one of those guys from that other place you referred to that came over here and did the bad stuff

Happened to me more than once.

Nothing in ANY of my posts that would be deleted.  I avoid BS at all costs even swallowing my pride if necessary.

Inflammatory and hypocritical!

Terry and I both didn't fall off of the turnip truck just yesterday. I feel that the main part in question is that fact that the person that started this thread made the claim that his saw would hold 13500 rpm in the cut. I asked for a video and he changed his tune to 12500, claiming it was a typo. He wants all of the people that come to this forum to think he is a first class saw guru. I talked with him on the phone and I really don't think he is at all.

Alan, no need to measure, the 288 deflector bolt pattern is close enough to work but the exhaust outlet direction options are less than desirable.

As far as Tim goes.  I've met him a few times at his shop. He knows what's he's doing. As far as the saw with a bb  kit and still piston, I also built one.  I don't have a tach, but this saw has the best throttle response compared to my 390 or 394.  Using the feel o meter when cutting, you can tell it is spinning some rpm.      As far as a typo, Tim does not have the best vision.   Tim send me that muffler, ill dual port the **** for ya!!!  To tell you the truth, I think your better off just making the existing hole bigger. Either wAy let me know.

Al, it is not my saw it belongs to another member here JohnG28, who saw one I did on a 262 and we were exploring options to use on his 350. Check out this thread:

You should post a picture of the one you did on one of your 350s, perhaps that will do it for him.

Dan you know my #. Not a one way street if you need to talk.

Also  mods know to remove anything outright malicious about any member here.  I WILL NOT let this be another AS.

Not to you Dan,
Mentioning folks copying. Maybe someone better look in the mirror.  I remember where they started. Funny how Helsel's carb info now gets sold on AS. Plus other stuff.

Mods will continue  to remove post like those that were posted and removed. IF folks dont like it they can leave.  No problem. This is a adult site for folks needing help on repairs.
