I did do a little grinding on the saw, matched the jug to the cases, so no steps in the TP area and got rid of the casting marks in the IP and EP areas. However that is it, no port timing changes. OBTW this saw runs a base gasket to adjust the squish because the Stihl piston is a wee bit taller than the one supplied with the BB kit. In this saw the 064 piston is from Meteor. I have built them using Stihl OEM 064 pistons however the additional cost of the OEM piston is not justified by any performance gain over the Meteor.
