I thought it was a rather concise collection of thoughts and comparison on the "372" family of saws by one of the known authorities.

We can always wish that all saw dealers will be like Spike, but it will not happen - he is quite unique!  ;D

Cheers, that was great to watch. The 61-272 series ones are just as good too.

Spike has what is essentially a brand new 272 shown in the video. I bet it is not for sale?

Yeah I was thinking to myself that I'd like to relieve Spike of the burden of having that 'inferior' 272XP in his possession. 8)

For older saws:
Tune the H side so that it 4-strokes (burbles) at WOT unloaded and just cleans up when under load.
When you lift cutting load, the saw should immediately revert to 4-stroking.  Fine tune the transition point for the wood you're cutting.

I'll start the bid at a low 300.00  :)        Enjoyed it Spike.  Its allways a treat watching his video's.  Would love to see more, like maybe the 162/262 series.

Spike has several interesting old saws. But none as new old stock as this 272. It belonged to a friend that never used it.
