Husqvarna 235 Fuel pump?
« on: June 02, 2019, 06:36:45 pm »
Hi. I have a Husqvarna 235.  Recently it stopped running and I found that the fuel lines had broken up inside the tank.
I have fitted new fuel lines and cleaned the tank but it still wouldn't start so i cleaned the carb and fitted new diaphragm and gaskets. Still no good.
Next I fitted a new carb and now it will run but cuts out after a few seconds but will keep running as long as I keep pressure on the primer bulb.
I suspect that the fuel isn't being pumped through the carb.
Does anyone have any advice on this?
TIA

Check your carb settings. If I recall right these maybe the ones that like 2 2.5 turns out on the L side.
