I'm sure it only works in a narrow realm of conditions.

My aggravating problem is beginning to be peripheral neuropathy. It has been coming on me here and there for 20 years along with carpal tunnel syndrome. Little small things have become a problem for me to pick up or put them in the exact place they belong. I still do fine with a cup of coffee.

Therefore I appreciate the Auto Tune saws like the 560XP where I don't have to use the little screw driver to adjust the needles every day I start to use the chainsaw.

I never had carpal tunnel, but I know a lot about it anyway, as Witchy had surgery for it 3 times, but that was before I met her. Anyway, she told me a lot about it, and it didn't sound like fun. Still, she was able to operate chainsaws and carry wood many years after those surgeries.

I have serious problems with my right hand (I am right handed), but my left is a bit better, so I always dropstart my saws with the left on the rope. I discovered that it is the safest and best way anyway, after I was forced to do it.  ;)

However, I don't have a real problem with adjusting a carb with my right hand, it just hurts, and I have to really focus on the task.
Making a fist is not possible at all, but on the left it is just the middle finger that won't, on the right it is all..

Dang Nikko I guess you adapt the best you can but it sure makes my ailments look insignificant.

About 2 months ago I had severe pain in my left arm and shoulder only to find out it is a pinched nerve in the neck.   But I can tell you this it is nothing from what you have going on.    I can at least get out cut, split, and stack wood and still pretty much do what I want.   I just have to be more careful and smarter.
