HVA actually provides updates to the AT firmware. If you have the Auto Tune Diagnostic tool you can obtain the revision level of the current firmware level on the saw, then sign onto dealer support at HVA and check to see if new firmware has been released for the product. If so, you can download it and the diagnostic tool can be used to update the product with the latest firmware.

Computers can do amazing things but in reality they are not very smart. Can do millions of repetitive things very very quickly but the things they do are very simple in nature. Computer controlled devices are set up to work properly within a narrow region of circumstances, go outside that set of parameters and all bets are off. So, the process that SawTroll suggests users are ignoring is within the parameters of the firmware programming and the computer will make the correct decisions and the saw will start.
