Torque Specs...
« on: October 17, 2014, 12:30:10 pm »
What does Husqvarna recommend for Torque specs on 372 case screws? Do they recommend seat and then re tighten after running? Just curious... have always used "ham fist" torques, or is that red neck torque wrenchs... so far no issues. But it would seem to me thin wall castings probably should be dealt with more intelligently than that.

Insert the six bolts and tighten them in rotation. Tighten them finally to 8 Nm.  That's what the sm for the 371 says. I usually go half the torque first time around then finish them at the torque specified.
