.404 or .375 chain

What are some thoughts on running .404 or .375 on a stock 394xp with a 32 inch bar in oak. Any good feedback would be great.

404 is noticeably more expensive than 375 and unless you are in a true big timber area, no one stocks it.

But it does stay sharp longer.

We are an Oregon distributor, hardly any call for .404 except for specialized operations. Most would use 3/8 skip in your application, speed is king.
