Anybody ever had a bad experience using the chain breaker thats sold on Harbor Freight but made by Central Machinest.

The anvil is not hard enough imp,the sets for spinning are not perfect and the spinner has a slight wobble but if your careful it does work. I would say its definetly better than the portable one sold by northern.

I don't make up enough chains to justify a chain breaker unless one comes about on the cheap .I just grind the rivet heads off and seperate the chain tie straps with a little sharp chisel .
