Some models look interesting. One looks like a Redmax 400/4500 copy.

Green looks good ! Parts support will be the maker or breaker ! Where to buy ? How much ?

active it's an italian trademark. they bought old OPEM and MONDIAL (also italian) ten years ago, more ore less.
except one model (that's a zenoah-redmax concession) all the others are made in italy. the engines, in particular the 39.39 (40.40), are wonderfull and powerfull. good saws even quite cheap in Italy. for a 39.39 we pay more or less 300 euros...

I've got a 2-yr-old Active 39.39 that needs some help: the lock on the safety guard doesn't retract properly when the guard is pulled back--it doesn't slide smoothly into the casing, but forces the edge of the casing up. And the chain needs tightening. Thing is, this brand isn't sold much in Spain (I live in Madrid), so I'm trying to find a repair shop that can work on it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
