Any one got any ideas regarding a 242 flooding issue. Have replaced the fuel pipe in the tank. Now looking to strip down the carburettor and possibly replace the diaphragms. Not sure though if people have found any other issues with these old saws. Cheers JC

Do you have spark in the spark plug?

I guess I should have said more than I did?

Describe your starting procedure? Do you keep pulling on the rope and it never fires so you can click off the choke and then the next pull it starts?

That is the usual scenario and the problem is the operator is missing the flutter to know when to shut the choke.

It is best you put your starting procedure in your own words to us?
