Title: Varnish build up in carbs

Can any one tell me the best way to remove the varnish build up in old carbs?

I've taken apart old carbs that have sat for over 20 years and have never seen actual varnish on a saw carb .Now an old car lots of times .That said carb cleaner will get it off .

I don't see varnish now days like I used to 50 yrs ago.

All that ethanol must be cleaning it out
