Title: What size Starter Rope
Post by: Dh1984 on March 17, 2013, 07:19:10 pm
what size starter rope do i need for an echo Cs 8000? I would take it to the dealer and have to put one in it but they want to charge 70.00 an hour plus the rope. and he told me face to face that it would take an hour to put one in.

I can order 300 foot on e-bay for little over 30 bucks shipped. i just need to know what size i need so i can get some for it. Any help will be gratefully appreciated

80.7cc

I would use at least #4 1/2 or 9/64"

Have you ordered that starter cord yet?

I have a roll of 4.5 here and can send you a few feet.
