Title: Stihl ms290 clutch

Hi I have a stihl ms290 and I was wondering how to take the whole clutch out so I could replace the bearings, thanks in advance

The clutch is threaded onto the end of the crankshaft but it has left hand threads.

They are easy to remove if you have the correct tool to fit the clutch spider to remove it.

With a 1/2" drive impact wrench and the correct socket to fit the clutch, they come right off to turn them to the right.

Which bearing(s) are you referring to?
