I found a Homelite C-7. Is this a collectible or desirable saw? Round about value? Thanks everybody!

What is that stuck in the oil fill hole (or over the oil plug if it's there)? Can't quite make it out. In that condition.................that saw's 'worth' about $20-$100 or so depending on whether it's a good runner, has a good P/C, and the mindsets of the seller and buyer. Moderately collectible. It's not anywhere near 'mint' however. Looks like the muffler cover is messed up a bit (I can make out a washer under a screw head). Common for those mufflers.

Hi. I am looking at something to redo... And possible keep and use...

They're a good solid fun old saw to run. I wouldn't want it to be my ONLY work saw however. It's a model worth messing with. Parts aren't too hard to find. Easy to work on too.

Definitely worth fixing up. As Eccentric said, it would tend to wear you down if you used it as a firewood saw. It'll be fun for small projects though.

Thanks, everyone! I wouldn't use to cut firewood, because I am not young anymore! Thanks!

It's kind of fun to restore old saws but I personally any more don't give much for them . Once people find out you collect the things before you can blink an eye you'll have more of them than you can shake a stick at .
It's also amusing how some people think just because it's old it's worth a kings ransom .Might be to somebody but not to me .

Ya.... that's the spirit, i do the same and i more like to repair them and then its more worth to me( feels much better)
