Hi Guys,

Just new here. I have Makita dcs500 18inch chain, use it mainly for firewood. I want to improve the power so it can cut with ease when it comes to cutting bigger log even dry ones . Normally cut  12inch log.

Any advice to improve power ,not planning to get another chainsaw.

Is a Makita 500 like our dolmar 510 ?
