Title: Need Workshop Manual for Husky 42
Post by: farmboy on June 10, 2013, 09:57:52 pm
My link to gardening-tools-direct.co.uk doesn't work anymore.  Need WS manual for Husky 42.  Got the case split bearings in case.  Probably should have heated the case flywheel side so the bearing would have come out on crank.  Don't know how to get the flywheel side out.

If the bearing is in a blind pocket, you can heat the case up to about 300F in the oven and bang the parting line of the case half against a board and it will shake out.

It is in a blind pocket.  This is exactly what I needed to know.  Thank you very much.

The manual is a too large file, so I can't attach it - sorry.  :(
