Title: 020T 200T crankcases stihl
Post by: Cut4fun . on July 21, 2013, 09:22:36 pm
One more thing , can anyone tell me the difference between the 020t and the 200t casings? Are they the same? Will they accept the same parts as far as plastics and tanks?

Made you a thread on this.    Stihl 020T and 200T crankcase question above.

The 020T I tried out looked like a 200T with older screw in caps instead of flippy. Might have had a different carb too. Thats all I know.

If thats the only difference then I wouldnt mind twist caps. Never had an 020 but would love to have one. I wonder if the bore is the same too , I have a few new 200t piston kits I could use on it.

The 020T is the early 200T as far as I know.    Just  like 046 went to 460 etc. 066 to 660, 088 to 880
