Interesting setup, but I would like hear the reasoning behind that type of machine over a more efficient machine. I assume he made all that himself. Pretty neat setup.

Guy down by my land in southern ohio uses one of these small woodmizer with extension for longer logs. 

He will do the logs up for my dad for 50/50 of the lumber out of the log.
