This was back a few years and looks like another 880 due to the tag type Stihl label on the starter and the old style screw in caps then a Husqvarna 372XT as you can make out the blue choke lever.

In the picture above the two guys on the left are father-son and Pihl himself is standing the tallest.
Notice that Pihl is wearing double front jeans. The Husky guy has Husky chaps and the Stihl guy has Stihl chaps?
Full wraps?
The heights of the individuals is deceiving as the boss man is standing on the root crown of the tree and the others are off to the sides.

I went by there yard in vernonia a few years back. A cool little town in timber country. It was neat to have seen it on tv then go by it in person.

Are you sure he has husky chaps. A lot of guys where blue jeans with snap in chap material on the inside. Madsens sells them.

That could very well be what they are.

Wanted to get a pair of them, just never have I think they would be real hot in a mid Atlantic summer. But maybe not as bad as regular chaps.

I have a pair of the Madsens Chainsaw pants with the snap in protection....really nice in the winter...way too hot in the summer...the outer layer is nylon...they shed water and snow pretty well..
