Klotz original  techniplate 100% synthetic  all year round and sometimes in the 90-100 degree heat days I use the Klotz Super techniplate 80% synthetic  - 20% Castor Benoil. 32:1 by my choice, 4oz to a gal 93 octane is just to easy. 4oz 8oz 12oz etc

For repairs in the shop I fill them up with 89 octane, 50:1 w/ Stihl Ultra, and 1 oz of Startron fuel stabilizer.

If the customer uses it only a couple times a year I use 50 Fuel instead, it helps prevent comebacks.

My stock or muffler moded saws, I run 40:1 Klotz Original techniplate w/ 1oz Startron fuel treatment, 93 octane fuel.

I run 50:1 Husqvarna XP oil its a full synthetic. I don't cut everyday but when I do cut I cut for the day of heavy use. I am curious as to why your going richer (legit question)? I know that a richer blend will keep things lubed up better and help from seizure but doesn't running it richer then suggested also clog spark arrester screens?

Never seen a deposit from the Klotz 100% or 80/20 at 32:1.  Seen a lot come in with screens plugged from that   stihl dino crap at 50:1 though.

The cleanest cyl to come in my shop was on an old Jon 625. My 80 year old neighbor bought it new. Cut 6 cords of firewood and 2 loads of logs per year. Never saw a drop of mix oil. He only used 30wt motor oil.

When I went to the local sawmill to work in early 80's all their saws got motor oil. Approx 1/2 quart to 2 gallons.

Ok so it wouldn't cause me too many issues to drop from 50:1 mix down to say 40:1 with the XP oil I am running now (I have about a gal of the 2 cycle oil left so it will be around a long time)

I've been running Stihl Syn. & Baileys dino 50/50 @ 36 to 1 1oz. Seafoam for 2 years. looks good so far.  However, when I run out of the Woodland dino I won't buy anymore will go to all syn @ 40 to 1.  Been selling neighbors the Woodland for 2yr. no problems.
